A Bible & Gospel Summary -
JESUS Christ Is God Incarnate -
The One True God – YHWH – The Father, Son and Holy Spirit In Union:
JESUS Part 1 of 25
The Gospel is The Good News !
GOD Yahweh Yeshua Is Love.! 1 John 4:8
Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior Loves us Unconditionally.! ❤
We are His Children Made in His Image and Likeness. Genesis 1:26-27..
Because of the gift of freewill we sin but are saved by Christ's grace of redemption on the Cross, thereby inheriting our heavenly Father's Paradise..!
When we sin God let's us ignore His guidance and be tempted by Satan.
God allows us to wallow in the pig mud and the negative consequences of our sinful ways that follow us until we see the error of our ways..
God patiently waits for us to choose to return to Him like in the parable of the Prodigal Son.. Luke 15:11-32..
But if we choose to permanently and completely deny and separate ourselves from God through our greater pride then God doesn't force us to return to Him.
If we choose to permanently follow the Prince of this materialistic world, Satan, rather than Jesus Christ, the Creator of everything, of Souls, the Universe and Heaven, God won't force us to return to Him but will seek us to the very end, as the Shepherd seeks His Lost Sheep .. Luke 15:4-7
When we choose to return to Jesus He joyously celebrates our return in the Kingdom of God and removes all residue of guilt and shame from us, forgetting our sins..Isaiah 43:25, and loving us unconditionally..!
▪ “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." (Isaiah 1:18).
▪ Jesus Said, "My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." (John 10:27-28).
▪ "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:12).
▪ Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).
▪ Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself on the Cross paying off the debt of God’s wrath for our sins. For us sinners He suffered and rose from the dead on the 3rd day, victorious over sin, death and Satan.
Christ then sent the Holy Spirit down for us to invoke, to give us Comfort, Guidance and Strength..!
▪ Praise to our one true Lord and God YHWH, being 3 divine Persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in union as revealed to us throughout the Holy Scriptures. ❤
▪ "It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died - more than that, who was raised to life - is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." (Romans 8:33-34).
So, Jesus bore our sin so we could bear His righteousness. Now when the Father looks at us, He no longer sees our sin ravaged flesh. He sees His Son !
".. The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1John 1:7-9).
▪ But, "The Accuser Satan accuses us before our God, day and night".. (Revelation 12:10).
Jesus Christ Came To Forgive & Save Not To Condemn and Shame.
▪ So Satan accuses and condemns us before our God day and night, guilt tripping and shaming God’s children to feel condemned, and who then act out projecting these dark feelings generated by Unclean Spirits on to others by acting uncharitably towards them.
A victim of a person possessed needs to recalibrate and restore their Soul's condition by Imbibing the gifts of the Holy Spirit and appreciate the reality that Jesus Christ came to forgive and save us and not to shame and condemn us.. John 3:17-19.
Nothing Can Separate Us From God’s Love:
▪ "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39).
▪ "God didn’t save us according to our works but according to His grace, which was given to us in Christ long before the world began, but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel" (2 Timothy 1:9-10).
▪ "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).
▪ "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:23-24).
• "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16).
▪ John the Baptist Said, "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world." (John 1:29).
▪ "Jesus atones for our sins and not only ours but also for the sins of the whole world." (1John 2:2).
▪ We are children of God made in His Image and Likeness, with the gift of freewill, so we have sinned but are saved by Christ's grace of redemption on the Cross, thereby inheriting our heavenly Father's Paradise..!
God is love ❤ and loves us unconditionally.
If we choose to permanently separate ourselves from God as Satan did, (and who was Not made in the image and Likeness of God) through Pride, then God will not force our freewill to choose nor His grace of redemption from His sacrifice on the Cross onto us.
Saved By Grace & Not By The Law:
▪ "For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God's grace." (Romans 6:14).
▪ "But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. But when you are directed by the Spirit, you are not under obligation to the law of Moses. Why don't you choose to be led by the Spirit and so escape the erratic compulsions of a law-dominated existence?" (Galatians 5:18)..

▪ "Whoever does not Love does not know God because God is Love" (1John 4:8).

▪ "The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion" (Psalms 11:5).

▪ "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
1. Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment."
2. "And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you"’

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. so the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God." (Luke 1:28-35).
Jesus is not an ordinary man that lies but an extraordinary supernatural God-man.
Jesus' flesh and blood were divine as a result of being formed in uterus by the Holy Spirit, thus Christ's body and blood are sacred and worthy to pay the price for the sins of the whole world.
▪ "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14).
The Father Calls the Son God:
▪ "But about the SON he says,

▪ Jesus Said, "The Father and I are One." (John 10:30).
▪ Jesus Said, "..I am in the Father and the Father is in me.." (John 14:10).
▪ "No one has ever seen God but the Son who is Himself God" (John 1:18).
• "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form," (Colossians 2:9).
• "..God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the HOLY SPIRIT, who has been given to us." (Romans 5:5).
▪ "Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14).
▪ "The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him." (John 5:22-23).
BEWARE The Antichrists:
▪ Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist - denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2:22; 1 John 4:1-3).
▪ "..Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." (1 John 4:1-3).
WARNING:
▪ "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!
As we have already said, I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse"! (Galatians 1:8-9).
JESUS Is God In The Flesh:
▪ "..He had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people" (Hebrews 2:6-18).
▪ "Since the children have flesh & blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might break the power of him who holds the power of death, that is, the devil, and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.." (Hebrews 2:14).
▪ "But we do see Jesus, who was made lower than the angels for a little while, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.." (Hebrew 2:6-18).
THE Pre-Incarnate Jesus Created Us & The Incarnate Jesus Saved Us:
▪ Without Christ's sacrifice on the Cross us we would all be condemned to Hell, Because the smallest sin isn't acceptable to Holy God. Only God in God the Son, Holy Jesus, is acceptable to God to pay the price for our sins. We were made possessing freewill and choice and we sinned, we hurt people, so God being God the Son, Jesus Christ, came to redeem us, by the pouring out of God’s wrath and judgment for our sins upon God in the Holy Jesus on the Cross, the shedding of His Sacred Blood and the infliction of His Sacred Flesh.
JESUS Bore Our Sins On The Cross - Mercy & Justice Meet:
▪ Jesus Said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised up on the third day.” (Luke 9:22).
▪ "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". (John 3:16)
▪ "You know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin." (1 John 3:5).
▪ "For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him". (2 Corinthians 5:21).
• “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24).
▪ "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5).
▪ Jesus Said, "This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." (Matt 26:28).
▪ "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (1 John 1:7).
• "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace." (Ephesians 1:7).
▪ "Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God." (Romans 5:9; 1 Peter 1:18-19).
IT Is Finished:
▪ "When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished.” With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." (John 19:30).
▪ When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. (Matthew 27:47-52).
JESUS Christ is Our Salvation:
▪ "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23).
▪ "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them". (John 3:36).
▪ "God didn’t save us according to our works but according to His grace, which was given to us in Christ long before the world began" (2 Timothy 1:9).
▪ "For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Thessalonians 5:9).
▪ John the Baptist said about Jesus, “Behold! Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29).
▪ "Jesus atoned for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world" (1John 2:2).
• "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:23-24).
We are MADE In God’s Image & Likeness:
▪ God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea..."
"So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:26-27).
▪ So all human beings are precious because we are made with & from God’s Love & the Image and Likeness of God. So we possess a Soul which includes our Mind, Spirit, Consciousness, Conscience, Self and Freewill, giving us the ability to Think, Feel, and make Choices etcetera. This provides us with the ability to have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit & our Creator & Savior, God the Son, Jesus Christ. We are children of God and our eternal home is Heaven
GOD Is Love
▪ ".. Let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." (1 John 4:7-10).
▪ Jesus Said, "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:20).
▪ "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him" (1 John 3:15).
▪ "Love does no wrong to a neighbor therefore Love is the fulfilling of the Law" (Rom 13:10; Matt 22:30-40).
CHRIST'S 2 Greatest Commandments Are To Love:
▪ "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
1. Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment"
2. "And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you"’
☆ "All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments” (Matthew 22:30-40).
▪ Christ's Law, the New Covenant, overrules OT Violence & Rituals. (Matthew 5:38:48).
▪ Jesus said, “You have heard it said, "an eye for an eye, etc. But I tell you, Love your enemy" (Matt 5:38-48).
▪ Life is the journey, Paradise is the destination, King Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life.....
Amen.....
JESUS Part 5 of 25
Possessed By Demonic Thoughts & Behaviours v The Holy Spirit:
▪ For individuals who need help to heal themselves from abuse trauma caused by dark human beings with psychopathic, antisocial, narcissistic and manipulative traits, and by other malicious perpetrators, they would be advised to invoke The Holy Spirit. (John 14:26-27, AMP).
Invoking Christ's Word of Love & Salvation and the Holy Spirit will provide one with the personal Spiritual Comfort, Peace, Guidance, Wisdom, Strength and Inspiration required to protect from the Enemies strongholds of negative thoughts and behaviours...
Unclean Spirits:
• First, God hasn't given Satan the power to listen to a person's thoughts. But Satan delights in a person's unChrist-like behaviours formed by temptation of one's base instincts like anger, or influenced by Satan's minions and his materlistic world. However, the Holy Spirit will help provide Protection from demonic influenced negative thoughts and behaviours by Self and others. These unChrist-like thoughts and behaviours include manipulation, jealousy, anger, rampage, chaos, havoc, deception, aggression and destruction etc., and acts of deceiving, lying, sabotaging, baiting, smearing, stalking, accusing, blaming, shaming, condemning, projecting and intimidating practices perpetrated towards Self and other precious human beings who are created in God's Image & Likeness... (Genesis 1:26-27).
Deliverance From Unclean Spirits of Negative Thoughts & Behaviours:
▪ If those with indwelling unclean spirits of negative and destructive thoughts and behaviours desire to dispossess themselves of these spirits and control these demonic behavioural and cognitive symptoms that require to psychologically and physically control, harm and destroy others, they would be advised to engage in a personal spiritual deliverance in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ or Lord, Creator & Savior.
In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ I renounce, rebuke and command all Unclean Spirit's thoughts and behaviours to be bound and to come up and out, to exit into the abyss of darkness in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ..!
Before and after deliverance to soulfully invoke Christ's Word of Love and Salvation and the Holy Spirit for the gifts of Comfort, Guidance, Strength, Wisdom and Inspiration.
To then meditate on Jesus Christ's prayer He advised the apostles to pray. "The Lord’s Prayer" ... (Matthew 6:9-13).
Every day we are flooded with unwanted intrusive thoughts which we need to discern as being trivial, from the enemy or Godly. We can ignore or distract the trivial with positive thoughts. We can rebuke thoughts coming from the enemy and invoke and possess Christ's Word of Love & Salvation, and with the Holy Spirit within us there is no longer room or ability for a stronghold of oppressive Unclean negative thoughts and behaviours to take up residency. So we prevent demonic thoughts to take up permanent lodgings in the Mind but for primarily, only positive thoughts and behaviours of kindness, love and compassion to be expressed to Self and shared with others....
Truly, it is one's choice by freewill, to embrace Christ's Love and Salvation and the eternal Holy Spirit of Comfort, Guidance, Wisdom, Light, Peace & Love, over and above the persuasions and oppressions of demonic unclean spirits of negative thoughts and behaviours re spiritual Darkness, Chaos & Hate ....
Throughout our life we will choose to execute a range of good or bad actions. Mental, physical and verbal..
The bad, which Satan loves. Satan loves Evil and Sin but hates the Person, Soul and Spirit..
Or the good, which God loves. God loves the Person, Soul and Spirit but hates Evil and Sin..
Good v Evil:
▪ JESUS Said, "You will know the Unclean Spirits by their Fruits...." (Matthew 7:15-20).
SATAN'S evil toxic fruits include that of a Deceiver, Shamer, Liar, Devourer, Hater, Manipulator and Murderer, etc.
SATAN prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.. (1 Peter 5:8).
SATAN is a Schemer and controls the rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil.. (Ephesians 6:10-17).
SATAN is the Father of Lies and a Murderer from the Beginning." (John 8:44).
SATAN the Accuser accuses us day and night before Our God." (Revelation 12:10).
"A third of the rebellious angels were cast down from heaven to earth.." (Revelation 12:3-9). The dark angel LUCIFER aka SATAN..
SATAN lies, twists the truth & contradicts God... (Genesis 1:26-27, Genesis 3:1-7).
"SATAN disguises himself such as an angel of light.." (1Corinthians 11:14).
JESUS Christ describes how Satan knowingly misquotes Scripture and interpretes Scripture out of context (Matthew 4:1-10)....
Satan is an Arrogant Fool Trying To Tempt Jesus. Matthew 4:1-11.
▪ Jesus Said, "The Thief comes only to Steal, Kill and Destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10).
"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the Evil one." (1 John 5:19).
Jesus Christ's Death & Resurrection has won victory over Sin, Death and Satan.. (Hebrews 2:14 -15; Colossians 2:13-15).
So Reject & Rebuke Satan, his Demons and Unclean Spirits and invoke & embrace the Mighty Jesus and His Holy Spirit..
God is Love:
▪ "Whoever does not Love does not know God because God is Love.." (1John 4:7-8).
If it's not Love it's Evil..
▪ "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).
▪ "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus." (Romans 3:23-24).
▪ "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)..
▪ Jesus Said, "For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:20).
▪ ".. And the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:7-9).
▪ My Yoke Is Easy & My Burden Light..!
Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).
▪ "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him" (1John 3:15).

▪ Jesus said, “You have heard it said, "an eye for an eye,” etc. But I tell you, Love your enemy" (Matt 5:38-48).

JESUS Part 6 of 25
The New Testament Gospels - Evidence Of The Author's & Dates Written
▪ Matthew - A tax collector who became Jesus' apostle and wrote about the life of Jesus as the Messiah for the Jewish community c. 60 AD.
▪ Mark - A Jew and a companion of Peter and Paul and who wrote for both Jews and Gentiles about Christ's death and resurrection c. 60 AD.
▪ Luke - A Gentile doctor and companion of Peter and Paul and who wrote for the Gentiles about Christ the saviour of human kind, c. 60 AD.
▪ Luke - also wrote the Acts of the Apostles c. 60 AD.
▪ John - The 'beloved' apostle of Jesus, wrote in his later years about the Word who took on Flesh (John 1:1,14). c. 80-90 AD.
▪ John - also wrote 3 Letters and The Book of Revelations c. 80-90 AD.
▪ James - Jesus' cousin, wrote 1 letter c. 35 AD.
▪ Paul - wrote 13 letters c.49 - 65 AD.
▪ Jude - wrote 1 letter c. 65 AD.
▪ Peter - wrote 2 letters c. 67 AD.
▪ The author of The Letter to Hebrews is yet unknown c. 65 AD.
(Wikipedia).
▪ Jesus Christ's' ministry occurred between 27-30 A.D.
▪ Christianity began after the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ when thousands of Jews became followers of 'The Way' (Jesus).
▪ The New Testament scholar, F.F. Bruce, gives strong historical evidence that the New Testament was completed by A.D. 100.
▪ Most writings of the New Testament were completed twenty to forty years before 100 AD. (Wikipedia).
▪ The apostles and their companions wrote the New Testament from their first-hand experiences with Jesus.
New Testament integrity is supported by historians, biblical and textual scholars, along with thousands of early codices, manuscripts and the Dead Sea Scrolls, proving the validity and preservation of the Gospels written between c. 35-90 A.D
(Eusebius, Church History 111. 39 .15; Irenaeus Against Heresies, 111.1)
INTERNAL Evidence:
▪ The internal evidence supports these early dates for several reasons. The first three Gospels prophesied the fall of the Jerusalem Temple which occurred in A.D. 70. However, the fulfillment is not mentioned. It is strange that these three Gospels predict this major event but do not record it happening. Why do they not mention such an important prophetic milestone? The most plausible explanation is that it had not yet occurred at the time Matthew, Mark, and Luke were written.
▪ In the book of Acts, the Temple plays a central role in the nation of Israel. Luke writes as if the Temple is an important part of Jewish life. He also ends Acts on a strange note: Paul living under house arrest.
It is strange that Luke does not record the death of his two chief characters, Peter and Paul. The most plausible reason for this is that Luke finished writing Acts before Peter and Paul's martyrdom in A.D. 64. A significant point to highlight is that the Gospel of Luke precedes Acts, further supporting the traditional dating of c. A.D. 60.
Most scholars agree Mark precedes Luke, making Mark's Gospel even earlier.
▪ Finally, the majority of New Testament scholars believe that Paul's epistles are written from A.D. 48-60. Paul's outline of the life of Jesus matches that of the Gospels.
1 Corinthians is one of the least disputed books regarding its dating and Pauline authorship.
In 1Corinthians chapter 15, Paul summarizes the gospel and reinforces the premise that this is the same gospel preached by the apostles.
Paul quotes from Luke's Gospel in 1Timothy 5:18, showing us that Luke's Gospel was indeed completed in Paul's lifetime. This would move the time of the completion of Luke's Gospel along with Mark and Matthew.
This Internal Evidence presents a strong case for the early dating of the Gospels.
EXTERNAL Evidence - Gospel Dates:
▪ Were the Gospels written by eyewitnesses of the events, or were they not recorded until centuries later? As with the internal evidence, the external evidence also supports a first century date.
▪ Fortunately, New Testament scholars have an enormous amount of ancient manuscript evidence. The documentary evidence for the New Testament far surpasses any other work of its time, with over 5000 manuscripts, and many are dated within a few years of their authors' lives.
KEY documents:
▪ Chester Beatty Papyri contains most of the N.T. writings, and is dated around A.D. 250.
▪ The Bodmer Papyri contains most of John, and dates to A.D. 200.
▪ Rylands Papyri was found in Egypt and contains large fragments of John which dates to A.D. 130.
From this fragment we can conclude that John was completed well before A.D. 130 because, not only did the gospel have to be written, it had to be hand copied and make its way down from Greece to Egypt.
The majority of scholars agree that John is the last gospel written, so we can affirm its first century date along with the other three with greater assurance.
EARLY New Testament Papyrus Manuscripts:
▪ Dead Sea Scrolls, the Full Text of Isaiah 53 and a portion of every book, c. 250 BC.
▪ Old Testament Greek Septuagint c. 200 BC.
▪ P52 (John Rylands Fragment) - John 18:31-33; 37-38 c. 96 AD
▪ P90 (Oxyrhynchus) - John 18:36; 19:7 c. 96 AD
▪ P104 (Oxyrhynchus) - Matthew 21:34-37, 43, 45 c. 60-65 AD
▪ P46 (Chester Beatty Papyrus) - Romans 5:17-6; 5-14; 8:15-25; 27-35; 10:1-11, 22, 24-33, 35; 16:1-23; 25-27.
And Hebrews; 1 & 2; Corinthians; Ephesians; Galatians; Philippians; Colossians; 1 Thessalonians 1:1, 9-10; 2:1-3; 5:5-9, 23-28 c. 50’s-70’s AD
▪ P98 (IFAO) - Revelation 1:13; 2:1 c. 90 AD
▪ P66 (Bodmer Papyrus) - John 1:1-6,11; 6:35; 14:26; fragment of 14:29; 21:9 c. 70’s AD
▪ P67 Matthew 3:9, 15; 5:20-22; 25-28 c. 60-65 AD
▪ Evidence also comes from the Dead Sea Scrolls Cave 7.
Jose Callahan discovered a large fragment of the Gospel of Mark and dated it to have been written in A.D. 50. Also large fragments of Acts and other epistles and dated them to have been written slightly after A.D 50.
Another line of evidence is the writings of the church fathers.
▪ CLEMENT of Rome sent a letter to the Corinthian church in AD 95 where he quoted from the Gospels and other portions of the N.T..
▪ IGNATIUS, Bishop of Antioch, wrote a letter before his martyrdom in Rome in A.D. 115, quoting all the Gospels and other N.T. letters.
▪ POLYCARP wrote to the Philippians in A.D. 120 and quoted from the Gospels and N.T. letters.
▪ JUSTIN MARTYR, A.D. 150 quotes John 3. Church fathers of the early second century were familiar with the apostle's writings and quoted them as inspired Scripture.
▪ Early dating is important for two reasons. The closer a historical record is to the date of the event, the more likely the record is accurate. Early dating allows for eyewitnesses to still be alive when the Gospels were circulating to attest to their accuracy.
The apostles often appeal to the witness of the hostile crowd, pointing to their knowledge of the facts as well (Acts 2:22, 26:26).
Also, the time is too short for legends to develop.
Historians agree it takes about two generations, or eighty years, for legendary accounts to establish themselves.
From the evidence, we can conclude the Gospels were indeed written by the authors they are attributed to.
THE First Fully Bound Bible Books/Codices
▪ Codex Vaticanus: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 280 - 330 AD
▪ Codex Siniaticus: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 300 - 350 AD
▪ Codex Alexandrius: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 350 - 400 AD
▪ Codex Vulgate: Origin 1st century M/S - first Codex, 380 - 400 AD
JESUS and the Jews were multilingual
▪ "Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross.
It read: 'JESUS Of NAZARETH, THE KING Of THE JEWS'.
Many of the Jews read this sign, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin and Greek" (John 19:19-20)
▪ The Gospels were written in Koine Greek being the World's language in the 1st century
The Hebrew Bible was translated into Greek (Septuagint) c.200 BC for the many Greek speaking Jews
It is well known that first-century Jerusalem was inhabited by Greek speaking Jews who were at least bilingual. And Jesus most likely was trilingual apart from the ability to read minds.
So the original Gospels were written in Koine Greek and sent throughout the World..
▪ Jewish culture was heavily influenced by Hellenistic culture, and Koine Greek was used not only for international communication but also as the first language of many Jews. This development was furthered by the fact that the largest Jewish community in the world lived in Ptolemaic Alexandria. (Wikipedia).
GOD Protects His Sacred Words:
▪ "But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse!
As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!" (Galatians 1:8-9).
▪ Jesus said, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away" (Matt 24:35).
▪ God protects His Word & Gospels and warns of antichrists. (1 John2:22).
▪ Christ's Good News of Salvation, His Birth, Crucifixion and Resurrection hasn't changed for 2000 years.
▪ The Gospels are evidenced by internal and external historical, archeological & literary facts.
▪ The Gospels are reliable and transparent with any variations transparently referenced in the footnotes.
▪ The Gospels have 1000 times more manuscripts than the most documented ancient literature by Greco-Roman historian, Suetonius.
▪ Bible is the most comprehensive and reliable source re. 1st century Jerusalem history & used by archaeologists supporting research today..
Hallelujah.....
JESUS Part 7 of 25
THE One True God Is – The Father, Son & Holy Spirit In Eternal Union
▪ "The Son of God is fully God. When Jesus was born it was his humanity that came into being but he has always eternally existed as God" (John 8:58; 1:1-4).
▪ Jesus said, "The Father and I are One" (John 10:30).
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit Speak In Union:
▪ Jesus said, "There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. For I did not speak on my own, but the Father who sent me commanded me to say all that I have spoken." (John 12:48-49)
▪ Jesus answered: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does." (John 5:19)
▪ Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves" (John 14:9-11).
JESUS is God Incarnate:
▪ “The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High..”
“How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:28-35)
▪ "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1)
▪ "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14)
▪ "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made" (John 1:3).
▪ "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24).
▪ Jesus Said, "I Am God's Son." (John 10:27-36).
▪ "God is called God the Father" (Matthew 6:9).
▪ "Jesus is called God the Son" (1 John 4:15).
▪ "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." (Ephesians 4:30).

▪ “We have a law, according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God." (John 19:7).
▪ "What about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’?" (John 10:27-36).
▪ Again, his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?” “We are not stoning you for any good work,” they replied, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.” (John 10:27-36).
▪ "So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute him. In his defence Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God." (John 5:16-18).

▪ God said to Moses, "Say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'" (Exodus 3:13-15).
▪ The people said, “You aren’t even fifty years old. How can you say you have seen Abraham?”
▪ Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I Am!” (John 8:57-58).
▪ The Pre-Incarnate Jesus visited Abraham outside his Tent (Genesis 18:1-15).
▪ Jesus Said, "And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began." (John 17:1-5).
▪ "Jesus Said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End" (Revelation 22:13).
▪ “While we wait for the blessed hope - the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.” (Titus 2:13).
▪ "The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven." (Hebrews 1:3).
▪ Jesus said, “But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." (John 14:26, 15:26).
▪ Jesus Said, "Go to all Nations & Baptise in The Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit." (Matthew 28:18-20).
▪ “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you"? (1 Corinthians 3:16).

▪ "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
1. Jesus replied, "The first is to Love God.......and the second is like it..
2. "To Love your neighbor as yourself and love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you." (Matthew 22:30-40).
☆ "On these 2 hang all the prophets and law." (Matthew 22:30-40; 1 Corinthians 13).
▪ Jesus said, "You have heard it said, "an eye for an eye', etc. But I tell you, to Love your enemy." (Matt 5:38-48).

THE One True God
▪ God is one Spirit Being, eternally present as three distinct centers of consciousness but with one Mind and Will (hence the Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
God is One Being, One Essence, yet three distinct persons. As persons each is definitely not either of the other two.
However, God as One Spirit Being, we can definitely say that the Father is the Son is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the Son of God, the Son of Man, and God Almighty simultaneously.
Jesus has always existed and was never a created being.
He had a physical birth of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, and so His Blood & Flesh are Sacred and wash away human sin....
▪ The One True God Comprises 3 Divine Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit in eternal Union....
Wherever the Father is also is the Son and Holy Spirit.
The Father sends the Son (Word), God incarnate, and the Son and Father send the Holy Spirit....
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit do not speak or 'work' individually as they are the One God, one Essence, the one Spirit Being, whilst being three distinct centres of consciousness - 3 Divine Persons.

JESUS Part 8 of 25
EARLY Church Fathers - Confirm NT Authors Matthew, Mark, Luke & John.
▪ Matthew - A tax collector who became Jesus' apostle and wrote about the life of Jesus as the Messiah for the Jewish community c. 60 AD.
▪ Mark - A Jew, and a companion of Peter and Paul, who wrote for both Jews and Gentiles about Christ's death and resurrection, c. 65 AD.
▪ Luke - A Gentile doctor and a companion of Peter and Paul who wrote for the Gentiles about Christ the saviour.
▪ Luke - also wrote the Acts of the Apostles c. 65 AD.
▪ John - The 'beloved' apostle of Jesus, wrote in his later years about the Word who took on Flesh.. (John 1:1, 1:14) c. 80-90 AD.
▪ John - also wrote 3 Letters and The Book of Revelations c. 80-90 AD.
▪ James - Jesus' half brother, wrote 1 letter c. 35 AD.
▪ Paul - wrote 13 letters c.50 - 67 AD.
▪ Jude - wrote 1 letter c. 65 AD.
▪ Peter - wrote 2 letters c. 67 AD.
▪ The author of The Letter to Hebrews is unknown c.
(Eusebius, Church History 111. 39 .15; Irenaeus Against Heresies, 111.1).
▪ Eusebius & The Testimony of Clement:
Eusebius, writing at the end of the third century specifically credits the four Gospels to the four writers, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John .
Eusebius didn't make the connection himself but quoted from earlier works such as Clement of Alexandria.
▪ Clement of Alexandria lived 100 years before Eusebius and held that Mark wrote his Gospel, taken from the teaching of Peter. He also notes that this Mark is the one Peter mentions in 1 Peter 5:15 (Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History 2.15.1-2).1.
He later states that Mark's writing of the Gospel happened while Peter was still alive (Eusebius, Ecclesiastical History 6.16.6).2
The Testimony of Papias:
▪ While Clement's writings bring us to within a century of the Gospels' composition, Eusebius quotes and even earlier source, the writer Papias. Richard Bauckham notes that Papias' writings, while composed probably around 110AD are reflections from his earlier investigations as he collected oral reports from disciples who sat under either the apostles' direct disciples or the apostles themselves. Bauckham notes "the period of which he is speaking must be around 80CE."3 According to Craig Blomberg, Papias states Mark, who served as Peter's interpreter, "wrote accurately all that he remembered, not indeed, in order, of the things said and done by the Lord."4
▪ Similarly, we have early support for the other authors as well.
Blomberg notes that Papias tells us that Matthew wrote his gospel "alleging that he originally wrote the ‘sayings' of Jesus in the Hebrew dialect" 5
Irenaeus, who lived just after Papias confirms that Matthew wrote his gospel and did so early: "Matthew also issued a written Gospel among the Hebrews in their own dialect, while Peter and Paul were preaching at Rome, and laying the foundations of the Church" (Against Heresies 3.1.1).
▪ Clement of Alexandria, in the same Eusebius passage where he confirms Mark authorship also confirms Luke and John's authorship of their gospels.
There is a strong chain of testimony linking Matthew, Mark, Luke and John as the men to the Gospel accounts.

THE Early Church Fathers Confirm The Gospel Authors:
Justine Martyr of Rome:
▪ Justin Martyr, who was writing from Rome in around 150 AD.“In the memoirs [=Gospels], which I say have been composed by the apostles and those who followed them”… (Dialogue with Trypho, 103.8.).
Irenaeus of Lyon, France.
▪ Around 180 AD, Irenaeus wrote: "Then [after the publication of the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke] John, the disciple of the Lord, who had even rested on his breast, himself also gave forth the Gospel, while he was living at Ephesus in Asia” (Cited in Eusebius, Church History 5:8, compare Irenaeus, Against Heresies 3.1.1.).
▪ Irenaeus writes: “I can even describe the place where the blessed Polycarp used to sit and discourse - his going out, too, and his coming in - his general mode of life and personal appearance, together with the discourses which he delivered to the people; also how he would speak of his familiar intercourse with John, and with the rest of those who had seen the Lord; and how he would call their words to remembrance” (Fragments from the Lost Writings of Irenaeus, Chapter 2).
▪ The Muratorian Fragment lists 22 of the 27 books that were later included in the New Testament. It’s dated to around 180 AD. Here’s what it says about John’s Gospel:
“The fourth of the Gospels is that of John, [one] of the disciples. To his fellow disciples and bishops, who had been urging him [to write], he said, “Fast with me today for three days, and what will be revealed to each one let us tell it to one another.” On the same night, it was revealed to Andrew, [one] of the apostles, that John should write down all things in his own name while all of them should review it” (Muratorian Canon of Rome, nos. 9–16).
Clement Of Rome:
▪ Clement of Alexandria, who was also writing around 180 AD. Regarding John’s Gospel, Clement says: “Of all those who had been with the Lord only Matthew and John left us their recollections (hypomnēmata), and tradition says that they took to writing perforce…. John, it is said, used all the time a message which was not written down, and at last took to writing for the following cause. The three gospels which had been written down before were distributed to all including himself; it is said he welcomed them and testified to their truth but said that there was only lacking to the narrative the account of what was done by Christ at first and at the beginning of the preaching…. They say accordingly that John was asked to relate in his own gospel the period passed over in silence by the former evangelists” (Cited in Eusebius, Church History, 3.24.1-13).
▪ So Clement tells us that John specifically went out of his way to give us information that was not already adequately told Synoptics.
Tertullian Of Carthage:
▪ Tertullian of Carthage, which is in modern-day Tunisia, was writing around 207 AD. Tertullian wrote:
“We lay it down as our first position, that the evangelical Testament has apostles for its authors…. Of the apostles, therefore, John and Matthew first instill faith into us; whilst of apostolic men, Luke and Mark renew it afterwards.” (Against Marcion 4.2).
▪ According to the majority viewpoint, the gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, collectively referred to as the Synoptic Gospels, are the primary sources of historical information about Jesus and of the religious movement he founded.[19][20][21]
The fourth gospel, the Gospel of John, differs greatly from the first three gospels. Historians often study the historical reliability of the Acts of the Apostles when studying the reliability of the gospels, as Acts was seemingly written by the same author as the Gospel of Luke.
▪ Among scholars, a growing majority considers the Gospels to be in the genre of Ancient Greco-Roman biographies,[22][23] the same genre as Plutarch’s Life of Alexander and Life of Caesar.
Typically, ancient biographies written shortly after the death of the subject include substantial history.[22] Some biblical scholars view Luke’s Gospel as ancient history rather than ancient biography.[23]

JESUS Part 9 of 25
EARLY Church Fathers Understood The Trinity From The 1st Century
▪ The Doctrine of Trinity was not created at the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325.
▪ The Early Church Fathers affirmed their belief in the Triune God.
▪ Here are a selection of Trinitarian quotes from the pre-Nicene fathers.
▪ Clement of Rome, A.D. 96 - “Do we not have one God and one Christ? Is there not one spirit of Grace poured out upon us?
▪ Polycarp A.D. 70-155 - "O Lord God almighty . . . I bless you and glorify you through the eternal and heavenly high priest Jesus Christ, your beloved Son, through whom be glory to you, with Him and the Holy Spirit, both now and forever" (Bishop of Smyrna. Disciple of John the Apostle. n. 14, ed. Funk; PG 5.1040).
▪ Justin Martyr A.D. 100 -165 - "For, in the name of God, the Father and Lord of the universe, and of our Savior Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, they then receive the washing with water" (First Apol., LXI).
▪ Athenagoras, A.D. 175 - “Who then would not be astonished to hear men called atheist who speak of God the Father, God the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and who declare both their power in union and their distinction in order?
▪ Athenagoras, A.D. 175 - “We acknowledge a God, and a Son (His Logos), and a Holy Spirit. These are united in essence – the Father, the Son and the Spirit.”
▪ Theophilus, A.D. 180 - “The three days which were before the limunaries are types of the Triad God, His Word and His Wisdom.”
▪ Irenaeus, A.D. 180 - “I have also largely demonstrated that the Word, namely the Son, was always with the Father.”
▪ Clement of Alexandria, A.D. 195 - “The universal Father is one. The universal Word is one. And the Holy Spirit is one.”
▪ Clement of Alexandria, A.D. 195 - “Thank the One only Father and Son, Son and Father. The Son is the instructor and teacher, along with the Holy Spirit. They are all in One, in whom is all, for whom all is One, for whom is eternity.”
▪ Tertullian, A.D. 195 - “We pray at minimum not less then three times per day. For we are debtors to three: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.”
▪ Hippolytus, A.D. 205 - “Who will not say that there is one God? Yet, he will not on that account deny the economy.”
▪ Hippolytus, A.D. 205 - “If then the Word was with God and was also God, what follows?
Would one say that I speak of two Gods? I will not indeed speak of two Gods, but of one.
I speak of two persons, however, and of a third economy – the grace of the Holy Spirit…the economy of harmony is led back to one God. For God is one. The Father who commands the Son who obeys and the Spirit who gives understanding.” (Note, all citations via Bercot).

So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God" (Luke 1:28-35).
▪ "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1).
▪ "And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14).
▪ "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made" (John 1:3).
▪ "God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24).
▪ Jesus Said, "I Am God's Son" (John 10:27-36).
▪ "God is called God the Father" (Matthew 6:9).
▪ "Jesus is called God the Son" (1John 4:15).
▪ "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." (Ephesians 4:30).
▪ Jesus said, “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done"
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End." (Revelation 22:12-13)
▪ “Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: ‘I am the first and I am the last, And there is no God besides Me. (Isaiah 44:6).
A Plurality of Consciousness/Persons exists within the One God.
▪ “Come near me and listen to this: "From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret; at the time it happens, I am there. "And now the Sovereign LORD has sent me, endowed with his SPIRIT" (Isaiah 48:16).
Isaiah understood plurality within the One God as being the Father, Son and Holy Spirit
▪ ‘’What Is His Name And The Name Of His Son..?
"Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Whose hands have gathered up the wind?
Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name, and what is the name of his son?
Surely you know!" (Proverbs 30:4).
The Father Calls the Son God:
▪ But about the SON he says,
“Your throne, O GOD, will last forever and ever;
a sceptre of justice will be the sceptre of your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore GOD, Your GOD, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy” (Hebrews 1:5-9; Psalm 45:6-7).
▪ God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” (Genesis 1:26).
Conclusion:
▪ The anti-Trinitarians maintain, the Trinity is not a biblical doctrine and was never taught until the council of Nicea in 325, so then why do these quotes exist?
Simply: the Trinity is a biblical doctrine, and it was taught before the council of Nicea in 325 A.D.
▪ A reason the Trinity doctrine was not "officially" taught until the time of the Council of Nicea is that Christianity was illegal until shortly before the council.
The Gospels:
▪ "The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven." (Hebrews 1:1-3).
▪ "Whoever does not Love, does not know God, because God is Love" (1 John 4:8)
▪ "Love does no wrong to a neighbor so Love is the fulfilling of the Law.” (Rom 13:10; Matt 22:30-40)
Christ's 2 Greatest Commandments are:
▪ "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.
One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
1. Jesus replied, "The first is to Love God.......and the second is like it..
2. "To Love your neighbor as yourself and love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 22:30-40).
☆ "On these 2 hang all the prophets and law" (Matt 22:30-40; 1 Cor 13).
▪ Christ's Law, the New Covenant, overrules OT Violence and Rituals.. (Matt 5:38-48).
▪ Jesus said, "You have heard it said, 'an eye for an eye', etc. But I tell you, to Love your enemy (Matt 5:38:48).

▪ "The Son of Man will give you everlasting life, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." (John 6:27).
▪ Jesus is God Incarnate,
The Word became Flesh (Jesus), God took on human nature. (John 1:1-4; 14).
▪ So Jesus is both fully God and Perfect human...
Jesus has 2 natures.. Both Divine and human
Jesus as Human: ate, slept, wept, spoke to the Father and was crucified etc.
Jesus as God: is One with the Father, raised the dead and created etc.
Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day victorious over sin and death.
Jesus Christ atones for our sins and not only ours but also for the sins of the whole world.. (1 John 2:2).
▪ Jesus Christ and the Gospel are the final revelation.. (1 John 2:22; 2John 1:7-11; Galatians 1:8-9; Revelation 22:13; Revelation 22:18-19)
▪ The One True Lord God is 3 divine Persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit existing in eternal Union - i.e. not separately or individually..
But they work together in Union whilst also having specialised roles
For example, where ever the Father is also is the Son and the Holy Spirit, etc.
So the Father sends the Son (The Word - Spirit of God) who is God incarnate, Jesus, being both fully God and Perfect human, and the Son sends the Holy Spirit.. but they are fully the One God..
And so the Father, Son and Holy Spirit do not speak or 'work' individually because Being in Eternal Union they are the One God..
Amen...
God Bless You....

▪ "The Son of Man will give you everlasting life, because God the Father has set His seal on Him." (John 6:27).
THE One True God:
▪ God is one Spirit Being eternally present as three distinct centres of consciousness within God (hence the Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
God is One Being, One Essence, yet three distinct divine persons. As persons each is definitely not either of the other two.
However, as One Spirit Being we can definitely say that the Father is the Son is the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is the Son of God, the Son of Man, and God Almighty simultaneously.
Jesus has always existed and was never a created being.
He had a physical birth of a Virgin and of the Holy Spirit, thereby He did not inherit the sin nature of Adam.
▪ “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form..” (Colossians 2:9).

▪ "Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
"Whose hands have gathered up the wind?

Surely you know!" (Proverbs 30:4).

▪ "Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel." (Isaiah 7:14).
OT Prophecy - The LORD of Israel & His Redeemer, The LORD Of Hosts
▪ "Thus Says the LORD, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the LORD of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god'" (Isaiah 44:6).
Prophet Isaiah understood plurality within the One God...
▪ “Come near me and listen to this:
“From the first announcement I have not spoken in secret; at the time it happens, I am there. And now the Sovereign LORD has sent me, endowed with his SPIRIT" (Isaiah 48:16).
Prophet Isaiah understood the plurality within the One God, being the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Union..
▪ "Listen to me, Jacob, Israel, whom I have called:
I AM HE; I am the FIRST and I am the LAST. My own hand laid the foundations of the earth, and my right hand spread out the heavens; when I summon them, they all stand up together." (Isaiah 48:12-13).
OT Prophesy - Christ's New Covenant and Final Revelation
▪ “THE days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
"It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.
“This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord.
“I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.
"I will be their God, and they will be my people.
"No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord.
“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”
(Jeremiah 31:31-34; Hebrews 8:8-12; Hebrews 10:16-17).
▪ "I, the Lord, have called you and given you power to see that justice is done on earth. Through you I will make a covenant with all peoples; through you I will bring light to the nations." (Isaiah 42:6).
▪ "Therefore Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, now that He has died to redeem them from the transgressions committed under the first covenant." (Hebrews 9:15; Jeremiah 31:31-34).
▪ David says, “The LORD says to MY LORD: ‘Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool" (Psalm 110:1).
Prophet David recognised plural interaction within the One God....
▪ And Jesus Christ claims to be God quoting this same verse in the following passage, (Matt 22:41-46).
While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
“What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”
“The son of David,” they replied.
He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says, "The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.”
‘If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?”
No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions." (Matthew 22:41-46).
Christ's First Scripture Reading in The Synagogue Was:
▪ "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
"He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn." (Isaiah 61:1-2).
Jesus read this Isaiah passage in the synagogue, and ended it by saying,
"Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing" (Luke 4:16-21).
▪ For to which of the Angels did GOD ever say,
“You are my Son; today I have become your Father”? Or again,
“I will be his Father, and he will be my Son”?
And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says,
“LET all GOD’s Angels Worship Him.” (Hebrews 1:5-9).
▪ But about the SON he says,
“Your throne, O GOD, will last forever and ever;
a sceptre of justice will be the sceptre of your kingdom.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness;
therefore GOD, Your GOD, has set you above your companions
by anointing you with the oil of joy” (Heb 1:5-9; Psalms 45:6-7).
Daniel's Prophecy:
▪ “In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven.
"He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence"
"He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him.
"His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed." (Daniel 7:13-14).
Daniel saw the Ancient of Days and The Son of Man - Plurality Within the One God..
▪ JESUS claims to be God:
The high priest said to him,
“I charge you under oath by the living God:
"Tell Us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God.”
“You Have Said So,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you:
"From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” (Matthew 26:63-67; Daniel 7:13).
Here Jesus claims to be the Messiah, The Son of God..
▪ "When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead.
Then he placed his right hand on me and said:
“Do not be afraid. I AM the FIRST and the LAST.
I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades." (Revelation 1: 17-18).
▪ "By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete;
and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear." (Hebrews 8:12-13; 10:12-22).
▪ "God didn’t save us according to our works but according to His grace, which was given to us in Christ long before the world began." (2 Timothy 1:9).
▪ "Love does no wrong to a neighbor therefore Love is the fulfilling of the Law." (Rom 13:10; Matt 22:30-40).
▪ "Whoever does not love does not know God because God is Love." (1 John 4:8).
▪ "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him." (1 John 3:15).
2. "To Love your neighbor as yourself and love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you." (Matthew 22:30-40).
☆ "On these 2 hang all the prophets and law" (Matt 22:30-40; 1 Cor 13).
▪ Christ's Law, the New Covenant, overrules OT violence & Rituals.. (Matthew 5:38-48).
▪ Jesus said, "You have heard it said, "an eye for an eye', etc. But I tell you, to Love your enemy." (Matthew 5:38-48).

▪ JESUS Ascended To Heaven:
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
Thomas said to him, “Lord we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
"If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” (John 14:7).
Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
"Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves." (John 14:1-11).

JESUS Condemns OT Violence & Rituals - Jesus Saves & Loves Us
▪ The OT Torah is 5000 yr old Hebrew & Israelite Narratives & Records about antiquity, wars, laws and rituals redacted c.500 BC, by the Scribes..
▪ Ancient OT literature typically narrates in genres of prose, poems, psalms, prophecies and war history etc. often written in metaphorical, hyperbolic and rhetorical literary styles by the Israelites and not by YHWH...
▪ “‘How can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord,”
when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?" (Jeremiah 8:8).
▪ Jesus condemns the Scribes and Pharisees of the OT:
“You snakes! You brood of vipers! how will you escape being condemned to hell? (Matt 23:13-33).
For their embellishment and strict adherence to the OT Rituals & laws..
▪ Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, the tax collectors and the prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God ahead of you." (Matthew 21:31).
JESUS Is God Incarnate -
▪ Jesus said, "The Father and I are One" (John 10:30).

JESUS Overrules OT Violence & Teaches Love:

Jesus Condemns Eye for Eye:
▪ Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. (Matthew 5:38-48).
Love for Enemies:
▪ Jesus said, “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor [b] and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:38-48).

JESUS Teaches How To Eat & Pray:
▪ "Jesus said, “Are you also still without understanding?"
"Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?
"But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man.
"For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.
"These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man.” (Matthew 15:15-30).
Praying:
▪ Jesus said, “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full"
"But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you"
"And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him".
“This, then, is how you should pray:
“Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come,
your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us from temptation, and deliver us from the evil one"
"For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you." (Matthew 6:5-14).
Jesus Prays:
▪ After Jesus said this, He Looked Toward Heaven and Prayed:
“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.
"For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him.
"Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
"I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.
"And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. (John 17:1-5).
WHOSE Son Is the Messiah?
▪ While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, “What do you think about the Messiah? Whose son is he?”
“The son of David,” they replied.
He said to them, “How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him ‘Lord’? For he says,
“‘The Lord said to my Lord:
“Sit at my right hand
until I put your enemies
under your feet.”’[a]
If then David calls him ‘Lord,’ how can he be his son?” No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions. (Matthew 22:41-46)
Footnotes:

Here Jesus describes Himself as Lord being plurality within the One God.
THE Sermon On the Mount
▪ Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him, and he began to teach them.
The Beatitudes
▪ Jesus said:
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 5:1-12).
▪ “PUT your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels"? (Matthew 26:52-53).
▪ Jesus said, “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them.." (Matthew 7:15-18)
LOVE Is: 1 Corinthians 13:1-13.
▪ "If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing." (1 Corinthians 13:1-13).
▪ "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:1-13).
▪ "Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known." (1 Corinthians 13:1-13).
▪ "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:1-13).
▪ "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him" (1 John 3:15; Psalms 11:5).
▪ "Love does no wrong to a neighbor therefore Love is the fulfilling of the Law." (Rom 13:10; Matt 22:30-40).

JESUS Christ is the Creator & Savior - John the Baptist Is the Final Prophet
▪ "The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John.." (Luke 16:16).
▪ Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist - denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. (1 John 2:22).
▪ "Anyone who preaches a Gospel other than the one we preached will be under God’s curse." (Galatians 1:8).
▪ The Lord God Protects His Sacred Words!
▪ Jesus said, "The Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him." (John 5:22-23).
▪ The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29).
▪ The beginning of the Good News about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, as it is written in Isaiah the Prophet:
“I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way”

▪ “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34, 15:12).

▪ "Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law" (Romans 13:8).
▪ "The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence" (Psalm 11:5).
▪ "Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses" (Proverbs 10:12).
▪ "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him" (1John 3:15).
▪ "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love (1 John 4:18).
▪ "You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you." (John 15:14-15).
▪ "For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome." (1 John 5:1-3).
▪ "..With all humility and gentleness with patience bearing with one another in love." (Ephesians 4:2).
▪ "Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away." (1 Corinthians 13:5-8; 13:1-13).
▪ "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Corinthians 13:13).
▪ "So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him." (1John 4:16).
▪ "If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen." (1 John 4:20).
▪ "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him." (1 John 3:1).

▪ "For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it." (James 2:10).
No man can keep the whole law so our salvation is through Christ's redemptive grace.

▪ "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below - indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:31-39).

▪ Jesus is God Incarnate,
The Word (Spirit of God) became Flesh (Jesus), God took on human nature. (John 1:1-4; 14).
So Jesus is both fully God and Human...the Hypostatic Union but not mixed

Jesus as Human: ate, slept, wept, spoke to the Father and was crucified etc.
Jesus as God: is One with the Father, raised the dead, forgave sins and created etc.

For example, where ever the Father is also is the Son and the Holy Spirit, etc.
So the Father sends the Son (Word) who is God incarnate, Jesus, and the Son sends the Holy Spirit.. but they are fully the One God..
And so the Father, Son and Holy Spirit do not speak or 'work' individually because Being in Eternal Union they are the One God..

"That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.” (John 16:12-15).
▪ "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. And I will be with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matt 28:18-20).

JESUS Part 16 of 25
Pharisee Saul, Called Paul, Slayed Christians & Became Christ's Apostle
▪ The history of Saul the Pharisee's transformation to Paul the Christian
▪ Paul said, “I am a Jew. I was born in the city of Tarsus in the country of Cilicia. When I was a young man, I lived here in Jerusalem. I learned all about the Law of our early fathers.
“I worked hard and killed men and women who believed as I believe today. I put them in chains and sent them to prison. The head religious leader and the leaders of the people can tell you this is true. I got letters from them to take to our Jewish brothers in the city of Damascus. I was going there to put the Christians in chains and bring them to Jerusalem where they would be beaten" (Acts 22:1-30).
Saul's (Paul) Conversion:
▪ Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord’s disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem. As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?”
“Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked.
“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied.
“Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
The men travelling with Saul stood there speechless; they heard the sound but did not see anyone. Saul got up from the ground, but when he opened his eyes he could see nothing. So they led him by the hand into Damascus. For three days he was blind, and did not eat or drink anything.
In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias.
The Lord called to him in a vision, “Ananias!”
“Yes, Lord,” he answered.
The Lord told him, “Go to the house of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying. In a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come and place his hands on him to restore his sight.”
“Lord,” Ananias answered, “I have heard many reports about this man and all the harm he has done to your holy people in Jerusalem. And he has come here with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who call on your name.”
But the Lord said to Ananias, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.”
Then Ananias went to the house and entered it. Placing his hands on Saul, he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord - Jesus, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here - has sent me so that you may see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

JESUS Christ Was Crucified
▪ From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. (Matthew 16:21).
▪ As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered into the hands of men." (Matthew 17:22).
▪ And he began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes and be killed, and after three days rise again. (Mark 8:31).
▪ Jesus said, “We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day he will be raised to life!” (Matthew 20:17-19).
▪ While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." (Matthew 26:26-28).
▪ The Jews Said, “We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God.” (John 19:7; John 10:29-36).
▪ “Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said. “Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?” Jesus answered, “You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above.’ (John 19:7-11).
▪ "Then Pilate set Barabbas free for them; and after he had Jesus whipped, he handed him over to be crucified. (Matthew 27:26).
▪ "They took Jesus, therefore, and He went out, bearing His own cross, to the place called the Place of a Skull, which is called in Hebrew, Golgotha." (John 19:17).
▪ "When they came to the place called “The Skull,” they crucified Jesus there, and the two criminals, one on his right and the other on his left." (Luke 23:33; John 19:18).
▪ "It was the third hour when they crucified Him." (Mark 15:25).
▪ "So the soldiers came, and broke the legs of the first man and of the other who was crucified with Him; but coming to Jesus, when they saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs." (John 19:32-33).
▪ "Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It was written, "JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS." (John 19:19; Matthew 27:37; Luke 23:38).
Prophet Isaiah prophesied Christ's crucifixion
▪ "We despised him and rejected him; he endured suffering and pain.
No one would even look at him - we ignored him as if he were nothing.
“But he endured the suffering that should have been ours, the pain that we should have borne.
All the while we thought that his suffering was punishment sent by God.
But because of our sins he was wounded, beaten because of the evil we did. We are healed by the punishment he suffered, made whole by the blows he received."
"All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned - every one - to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
"He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; like a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and like a sheep that before its shearers is silent, so he opened not his mouth" (Isaiah 53:1-12). 700 BC.
▪ "On that day, I, the LORD God, will make the sun go down at midday, and I will turn daylight into darkness." (Amos 8:9).
▪ "At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon." (Mark 15:33).
▪ "When the army officer and the soldiers with him, who were watching Jesus, saw the earthquake and everything else that happened, they were terrified and said, “He really was the Son of God!” (Matthew 27:54; Luke 23:47).
▪ "The attitude you should have is the one that Christ Jesus had:
He always had the nature of God, but he did not think that by force he should try to remain equal with God.
Instead of this, of his own free will he gave up all he had, and took the nature of a servant.
He became like a human being and appeared in human likeness.
He was humble and walked the path of obedience all the way to death - his death on the cross.
For this reason God raised him to the highest place above and gave him the name that is greater than any other name.
And so, in honor of the name of Jesus all beings in heaven, on earth, and in the world below will fall on their knees and all will openly proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." (Philippians 2:5-11).
▪ Paul says, "As far as the Law is concerned, however, I am dead - killed by the Law itself - in order that I might live for God. I have been put to death with Christ on his cross, so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me." (Galatians 2:19-20).
▪ "When Jesus saw his mother there, and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to her, 'Woman, here is your son,' and to the disciple, 'Here is your mother.' From that time on, this disciple took her into his home." (John 19:26-27).
▪ Jesus said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (John 19:30).

BIBLE Scholars Agree - Jesus Was Crucified
▪ Some Bible Scholars differ on the historicity of some events described in the Biblical accounts of Jesus. (1).
▪ There is almost universal agreement by Scholars that Jesus was crucified by the order of the Roman Prefect, Pontius Pilate and was baptized by John the Baptist. (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).
▪ Pontius Pilate was the fifth governor of the Roman province of Judaea, serving under Emperor Tiberius from the year 26-27 to 36-37 AD.
▪ Pontius Pilate is best known today for being the official who presided over the trial of Jesus and later ordered his crucifixion.
▪ The Non-Christian sources used to study and establish the historicity of Jesus include Jewish sources such as Josephus, and Roman sources such as Tacitus. These sources are compared to Christian sources such as the Pauline Epistles and the Synoptic Gospels. And these sources are usually independent of each other (e.g. Jewish sources do not draw upon Roman sources), and similarities and differences between them are used in the authentication process. (10, 11).

JESUS Christ’s Resurrection!
▪ "He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ (Luke 24:6-7).
▪ “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16:6).
▪ The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” (Matt 28:5-6).
▪ "Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead." (John 20:8-9).
▪ "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." (1 Peter 1:3).
▪ "For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." (1 Thessalonians 4:14).

Amen." (Hebrews 13:20-21).
▪ "And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also - not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 3:21).

▪ "For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance":
"That Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the Twelve.
After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep.
Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born." (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).
▪ "In speaking of a new covenant, he makes the first one obsolete. And what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away." (Hebrew 8:13).

THE One True God
“For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form” (Colossians 2:9).
▪ Jesus is God Incarnate,
The Word (Spirit of God ) became Flesh (Jesus), God took on human nature. (John 1:1-4; 14).
So Jesus is both fully God and Human...the Hypostatic Union but not mixed
Jesus has 2 natures.. Both Divine and Human but with a Sinless Soul
Jesus as Human: ate, slept, wept, spoke to the Father and was crucified etc.
Jesus as God: is One with the Father, raised the dead and created etc.
Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day victorious over sin and death.
▪ Jesus Christ atones for our sins and not only ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2).
▪ Jesus Christ and the Gospel are the final revelation (1 John 2:22; 2 John 1:7-11; Galatians 1:8-9; Revelation 22:13; Revelation 22).
▪ The One True Lord God is 3 divine Persons, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit existing in eternal Union - and not separately or individually..
But they work together in Union whilst also having specialised roles
For example, where ever the Father is also is the Son and the Holy Spirit, etc.
So the Father sends the Son (Word) who is God incarnate (Jesus being both fully God and human) and the Son sends the Holy Spirit.. but they are fully the One God..
And so the Father, Son and Holy Spirit do not speak or 'work' individually because Being in Eternal Union they are the One God..
▪ Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness..." So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26-27).

JESUS Part 22 of 25
The Ancient Chinese Recorded Jesus Christ's Birth 2000 Years Ago
▪ 2000 years ago the Chinese recorded Jesus Christ's Birth, Crucifixion and Resurrection through God’s Revelations.
▪ Chinese emperor Jianping (3 BC.- 6 BC.) recorded that 3 Wise men/Magi followed a bright Star & Comet to Bethlehem & to baby King Jesus.
GOD Revealed Himself To The People Of China Prior To Jesus Christ's Birth More Than 2000 Years Ago -
THE Great Flood - As Revealed To The People of China
▪ Noah was alive during the time of the first Chinese dynasty.
Noah lived until about 2150 B.C. Emperor Yu became the founder of the first Chinese dynasty Xia in 2123 B.C. This is 119 years after the Tower of Babel and 225 years after the Flood.
▪ The Chinese language is the oldest written language in the world and words were drawn as pictures to symbolize each meaning. These pictures show 8 people in the boat of a great flood which accurately reflects the number of people who were in Noah’s Ark.
▪ The Aboriginal people of Australia also have an oral tradition of a vast flood in which 8 people escaped in a canoe. Many ancient cultures from both the Western and Eastern hemispheres have stories of a world-wide flood.
▪ "To those who were disobedient, long ago, when God waited patiently in the days of Noah, the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water.." (1 Peter 3:20).

KNOWLEDGE of One God - As Revealed To The Chinese:
▪ Prior to Emperor Yu dynasty was Emperor Shun (2230 B.C.) who believed in one God called Shangdi, and who was the supreme ruler of the universe. Shangdi means “Emperor”, “Supreme Deity” or “Highest Deity”. Shangdi was never made into an idol or image.
▪ The Emperor functioned as a ruler and also as high priest.
The Shu Jing (Confucius Book of History) depicts Emperor Shun making the annual sacrifice to Shangdi. Sacrifices were made in the 'Temple of Heaven' which contained Shangdi’s throne. A healthy bull was sacrificed by the emperor and a tablet with Shangdi’s name inscribed on it would be placed on the throne in the 'Temple of Heaven'.
CREATION - As Revealed To The Chinese:
▪ The ancient ceremony that the Emperor performed while sacrificing the bull began with: “Of old in the beginning, there was the great chaos, without form and dark. The five elements had not begun to revolve, nor the sun and the moon to shine. In the midst thereof there existed neither forms for sound. Thou, O spiritual Sovereign, came forth in Thy presidency, and first did divide the grosser parts from the purer. Thou maddest heaven; Thou maddest earth; Thou maddest man. All things with their reproductive power got their being.” (The Shu Jing).
This sounds quite similar to Genesis 1:1-2 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was upon the face of the deep”.
▪ The ceremony continued with “Thou regardest us as a Father” and ended with: “Thy sovereign goodness is infinite. As a potter, Thou hast made all living things. Thy sovereign goodness is infinite. Great and small are sheltered by Thee. As engraven on the heart of Thy poor servant is the sense of Thy goodness, so that my feeling cannot be fully displayed. With great kindness Thou dost bear us, and not withstanding our shortcomings, dost grant us life and prosperity.” (The Shu Jing).
▪ We see here a similarity to Isaiah 64:8, “But now, O Lord, Thou art our Father; we are the clay, and Thou our Potter and we all are the work of Thy hand”.
▪ The Chinese had a revelation of who God was that had been passed down to them from generation to generation.
▪ HOWEVER, later, other deities and ancestral worship were added in addition to Shangdi, but China began as a monotheistic people.
Today, Shangdi is considered the God of the Christians in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
CHRIST'S Birth - As Revealed To The Chinese:
▪ Fast forward 2,000 years. Wise men from the east come looking for Jesus. How in the world did they know about Jesus?
▪ There came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he that is born King of the Jews?.. for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” (Matthew 2:1-12).
An explanation as to who these wise men were and where they came from can be explained by the record of the Chinese emperor Jianping (3 BC - 6 BC.):
▪ “In the second month of the second year, the comet was out of Altair for more than 70 days.
It is said, ‘Comets appear to signify the old being replaced by the new.’ Altair, the sun, the moon and the five stars are in movement to signify the beginning of a new epoch; The beginning of a new year, a new month and a new day…The appearance of this comet undoubtedly symbolizes change. The extended appearance of this comet indicates that this is of great importance.”
(Taken from ‘’Astronomy Records of the Book of the Han Dynasty’’).
▪ Most Christian scholars agree that Jesus was born somewhere between 5-6 B.C. Emperor Jianping clearly recognized that the star Altair signified something very significant. Altair is one of the brightest stars in the Chinese sky. Altair was observed for about 70 days. Seventy days is the estimated amount of travel time needed to get from China to Israel.
What made Emperor Jianping realize the star’s appearance was important?
▪ “The primary meaning of Altair, the key supporting pillar of the heavens, is the 'Perfect Sacrifice.'”
(Historical records, Vol. 27, Book of Astronomy).
Altair is in the constellation Aquila. In Chinese Aquila means “the heaven eagle constellation”.
▪ Chinese astronomers and emperors interpreted this information to mean that a King was coming and that He was worthy of worship. Possibly, they believed that Shangdi was coming for the throne that they had constructed for Him in the 'Temple of Heaven'.
CHRIST'S Crucifixion - As Revealed To The Chinese:
▪ Emperor Guang Wu reigned during the time of Christ’s death and resurrection. The fact that he and astronomers knew Christ was God is shown in Chinese historical records dated around A.D 31.
“Yin and Yang have mistakenly switched, and the sun and moon were eclipsed. The sins of all the people are now on one man. Pardon is proclaimed to all under heaven.”
(History of Latter Han Dynasty, Volume 1, Chronicles of Emperor Guang Wu 7th year).
▪ “In the day of Gui Hai, the last day of the month, there was a solar eclipse. [The emperor] avoided the Throne Room, suspended all military activities and did not handle official business for five days.”
(History of Latter Han Dynasty, Vol. 1, Chronicles of Emperor Guang Wu, 7th year”).
And another Chinese record states:
▪ “Eclipse on the day of Gui Hai, Man from Heaven died”.
(History of Latter Han, Annals, No. 18, Gui Hai).
As we know, when Christ died there was darkness that covered the earth.
▪ “From the sixth hour until the ninth hour darkness came over all the land.” (Mark 15:33).
CHRIST'S Resurrection - As Revealed To The Chinese:
• Three days after the eclipse this was recorded by Chinese astronomers:
“During the reign of Emperor Guang Wu, on the day of Bing Yin of the fourth month of Jian Wu, a halo - a rainbow - encircled the sun.”
(History of Latter Han, Annals No. 18, Gui Hai).
Christ’s resurrection caused a miraculous celestial event observable in China!
CONCLUSIONS:
▪ It is clear that Christ did not hide Himself. The Holy Spirit sent Paul and the apostles of His church throughout the ancient world to preach the Gospel, yet it always seemed that ancient China was overlooked. It was never overlooked. God knew that the Chinese people already saw the signs in the heavens.
▪ The Chinese people recognized the King of Israel was born before it was made public. They recognized that something miraculous was occurring on the earth. A Divine Birth, God Incarnate. God has been revealing Himself for generations to the generations.....
JESUS Part 23 of 25
JESUS Christ Said - Not To Abuse The Children..!
▪ Jesus said, "If anyone causes these little ones to stumble it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and drowned in the sea." (Matthew 18:6, Mark 9:42, Luke 17:2).
Don't Steal a Child's Innocence..!
▪ Jesus said, “See that you do not despise one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven." (Matthew 18:10).
▪ “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great..” (Luke 9:48).
▪ "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger by the way you treat them. Rather, bring them up with the discipline and instruction that comes from the Lord." (Ephesians 6:4).
▪ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’ (Matthew 25:35-40).
This provides us with the ability to have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit & our Creator & Saviour, God the Son, Jesus Christ. We are God’s children. We are Spiritual beings living in a physical world, until it is our time to join our Savior Jesus in the eternal paradise of heaven.
God Is Love:
▪ "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him." (1 John 3:15).
▪ "Love does no wrong to a neighbor therefore Love is the fulfilling of the Law." (Rom 13:10; Matt 22:30-40).
Christ's 2 Greatest Commandments Are To Love:
▪ "Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
1. Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment."
2. "And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself, love your enemy and pray for those who persecute you"’
☆ "All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” (Matthew 22:30-40).
▪ Christ's Law, the New Covenant, overrules OT Violence & Rituals... (Matthew 5:38:48).
▪ Jesus said, “You have heard it said, "an eye for an eye, etc. But I tell you, Love your enemy." (Matthew 5:38-48).
▪ Life is the journey, Paradise is the destination, King Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life..

CHRIST Saves Us by His Free Redemptive GRACE & Not by The Law
▪ Jesus atones for our sins and not only ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (1 John 2:2).
▪ "God didn’t save us according to our works but according to His grace, which was given to us in Christ long before the world began." (2 Timothy 1:9).
▪ "For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it." (James 2:10).

▪ "It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery." (Galatians 5:1).
▪ "When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross." ▪ "Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God." (Romans 5:9).

THE One True God
▪ God is One Spirit Being eternally present as three distinct centres of consciousness within God (hence the Godhead of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
Almighty God is One Being, One Essence, yet three distinct persons. As persons each is definitely not either of the other two.
However, God as One Spirit Being we can definitely say that the Father is the Son is the Holy Spirit. Where ever one Divine Person is so are the other 2 because God is One Divine Being and Essence.
Jesus is the Son of God, the Son of Man, and God Almighty simultaneously.
Jesus has always existed and was never a created being.
Jesus is The Word who became Flesh having a physical birth of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit, thereby the Son of God was sinless.
▪ “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” (Colossians 2:9).
Jesus is God Incarnate,
▪ "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." (John 1:1-4)
"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth" (John 1:14).
The Word became Flesh, Jesus, God took on human nature. (John 1:14).
So Jesus is both fully God and human...
Jesus has 2 natures.. Both Divine and Human
Jesus as Human – The Son of Man: was sinless and perfect and also ate, slept, wept, spoke to the Father and was crucified etc.
Jesus as God – The Son of God: is One with the Father, raised the dead and created etc.
Jesus rose from the dead on the 3rd day victorious over sin and death... this is Salvation through Christ's Redemptive Grace..
▪ Jesus Christ atones for our sins and not only ours but also for the sins of the whole world.. (1 John 2:2).
▪ Jesus Christ and the Gospel are the final revelation.. (1 John 2:22; 2 John 1:7-11; Galatians 1:8-9; Revelation 22:13; Revelation 22:18-19).
